Overheard

Wyeth and Seren are both total crack ups. As I think all children are at this age. 5 and 3 is just too much. Too many questions. Too many working minds. I love it.

"Do you think the Easter Bunny will come in the front door or the back door? I hope the back door. I don't want him having to hop all the way to the front!" -Seren

"Stocking shop is open for spring! What do you want from there?" He then took orders. Nodding as we ticked off our desires. (Stocking Shop is the make believe shopping store that sells EVERYTHING!)- Wyeth

Upon looking at my dry cracked hands, "Oh no! Did your bones outgrow your hands?"- Seren

A new expression. "What in the picture frame are you talking about!?" (aka what the hell are you talking about?)- Seren

"When I grow up, I may be a daddy but I'll still be me."- Wyeth

"I don't want to be a parent. No way. The only good thing is you don't get time outs." -Wyeth

"Remember when I was little? And you held me in your arms? Can you do that? Rock me like I was little?"- Wyeth

Oh, these moments are so funny. And so fleeting. I love being a mom. And I love my kiddos.

I love Seren's "What in the picture frame..." expression. My grandma used to say that people who swore just couldn't think of anything more interesting to say. Seren proves it!
