You know you are getting older when...

You go to the dentist and are told, "Look, you coasted through your teens. And coasted through your twenties. But now you are in your 30s and you have to make some changes."

I keep "failing" my dental appointments. I was told, "You are on a very short leash."

I need to start flossing. Every day. Twice.

I didn't tell her that the pants I am wearing today are the same pants I wore yesterday. The ones with a little bit of spit up on the knee.

Because ya know, I have LOTS of extra time to take care of myself and do things such as floss.

That being said, I don't want to me the classroom mommy that has no teeth! So I will do my best.

You should have heard the conversation for my first dental appt after the boys were born! I didn't brush my teeth before noon the entire time I was pregnant bc it made me vomit. And I skipped my dentist appts when preggo because I couldn't lay flat on my back without passing out.

But yeah, we're getting old. Old and fabulous!

Poor you! I feel my teeth getting fuzzier by the day b/c I can't get to the back ones without gagging. I also remember many fuzzy teeth days when Lana was a newborn b/c I couldn't remember if I brushed them or not and I really just needed to make time to pee and rehydrate. If it makes you feel any better, I haven't plucked my eyebrows in 3 years.
